Background and Discussion:
Harris County entered into agreement with Blueridge Transportation Group, LLC on November 12, 2019 for tolling services on all segments of the SH 288 Toll Lane Project. On April 8, 2024, TxDOT issued Blueridge Transportation Group, LLC a notice of termination effective October 8, 2024. Per TxDOT’s Transition and Assignment Agreement, Blueridge Transportation Group, LLC, has assigned all rights, interests and obligations under the tolling services agreement to TxDOT.
Expected Impact:
Approval would enable HCTRA to continue services provided under the existing agreement.
Alternative Options:
If the consent to assignment is not approved, HCTRA will not be able to continue providing tolling services for SH 288 Toll Lane Project.
