Background and Discussion:
Stormwater Quality Maintenance Program and Related Items for Harris County. The Stormwater Quality Maintenance Program utilizes an on-call contract to perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs of stormwater quality (SWQ) features located countywide. The purpose of the program is to ensure that Harris County remains in compliance with state regulations. The services provided through this on-call contract allow for timely responses to maintenance needs identified through routine inspections, as well as urgent repairs needed due to damage, blockages, or flooding events. The ability to address issues quickly and efficiently helps minimize potential environmental impacts and supports the long-term functionality of the County’s stormwater quality infrastructure.
Expected Impact:
Renewal of the vendor contract will allow Harris County to continue performing necessary maintenance and emergency repairs on stormwater quality features, ensuring ongoing compliance with state and federal stormwater regulations.
