Background and Discussion:
Landlord and Tenant heretofore executed and entered into that certain Office Lease dated January 5, 2016 (“Original Lease”), that certain First Amendment to Office Lease approved by the Commissioners Court on July 31, 2018 (the “First Amendment”), that certain Second Amendment to Office Lease approved by the Commissioners Court on August 27, 2019 (the “Second Amendment”, and that certain Third Amendment to Office Lease approved by the Commissioners Court on September 27, 2022; together with the Original Lease and First Amendment through Third Amendment referred to herein as the “Lease”).
The TAG Center award was accepted by Commissioners Court on October 29, 2024.
Expected Impact:
There will be no impact to the general fund budget. No required match for this grant. The TAG Center is a multi-agency complex where anti-gang coordination between different law enforcement agencies is conducted to execute investigations within Harris County and surrounding areas.
Alternative Options:
There are no alternative options to accepting this amendment to acquire additional office space.
