Background and Discussion:
On May 14, 2024, pursuant to notice, the Board of District Judges having jurisdiction in Harris County assembled at a meeting for the purpose of appointing a County Auditor for Harris County. Pursuant to Texas Local Government Code 84.005(b) the Board of Judges orders that beginning January 1, 2025 and ending December 31, 2026, Michael D. Post be appointed and elected for a two-year term as Auditor of Harris County. The Board of Judges further orders the District Clerk to provide certified copies of this Order to Commissioners Court of Harris County, Texas, for recording in its Minutes, and to the Harris County Administrative District Judge for such further orders as required by law.
