Background and Discussion:
This project is a re-design of 2 lanes of roadway equaling 20,000 linear feet of pavement from the existing asphaltic concrete pavement to jointed concrete pavement, and the stabilization of the existing insitu soil subgrade. A&R Engineering and Testing, Inc. will provide construction materials testing services to support the project in construction.
Expected Impact:
This agreement will allow the firm to conduct field and laboratory testing on soil, concrete, asphalt and various other construction materials to ensure the material’s compliance with Harris County Engineering Department’s adopted standards and specifications as required by state law.
