Background and Discussion:

The Harris County Universal Services Office of Innovation, located on the top floor of the historic Anderson Clayton Building, is crucial to our commitment to Commissioners Court to explore new technologies and address complex challenges through rapid development and collaboration. In the spirit of providing forward-thinking solutions to our customers, it is our intent to ensure the space serves a dual-purpose beyond innovation and as a county-wide collaboration hub. Usage will be maximized for the purpose of county-wide trainings such as STARS upgrades, P-Card, customer experience trainings and future trainings around new technology implementations.

Expected Impact:

To ensure the office can be fully operational and support these critical functions, we urgently need to acquire the necessary furniture. Delays in this purchase will hinder our ability to commence essential enterprise training sessions and other key activities.  Processed at end of fiscal year.
