Background and Discussion:
Harris County Reinvestment Zone Number One (Aldine TIRZ) was created in 2022 by Commissioners Court to promote the development or redevelopment of the area generally located in the Aldine area. The Board of Directors consists of nine (9) members who are nominated and appointed by the Commissioner of Precinct 2, subject to County Commissioners’ Court approval.
Expected Impact:
Appointment of two positions that were vacated before the end of their term. As such, the two new members will be appointed to serve the unexpired term, which will enable continuity of service, operations, and leadership on the board.
