Request for approval of an order authorizing the execution and delivery of a Tenth Amended and Restated Flood Control Projects Contract with the Harris County Flood Control District.

Background and Discussion:
Harris County contract with the Flood Control District to carry out the County’s flood control plans and programs and to pledge ad valorem taxes to the payment of a contract. In connection with the approval of the Tenth Amended and Restated Contract, the District intends to issue Flood Contract Tax Refunding Bonds, Series 2025A in an amount not to exceed $65M to defease certain outstanding bonds for savings. The District will pledge its right to receive payments from the County under the Tenth Amended and Restated Contract as security for the payment of Flood Contract Tax Refunding Bonds, Series 2025A.
