Background and Discussion:

The Project consists of Sediment Removal in the Greens Bayou Wetland Mitigation Bank. The scope of the contract needed to be changed to extend the maintenance road around the mitigation bank. The scope change results in additional budget and extends the project timeline.

Expected Impact:

This change in contract scope will provide improved access for future maintenance activities.

Alternative Options:

An alternative would be to develop a future construction project to extend the maintenance road. However, this would most likely cost more than this change order and take much longer to construct. It will be more efficient to extend the maintenance road now since the contractor is on site.
