Background and Discussion:

Based on the bid results, the recommendation of OCE and the design consultant, WSB LLC, it is recommended that the lowest responsive bidder, Texas Materials Group, Inc., be awarded the construction contract to perform the work for Asphalt Roadway Rehabilitation at Campbell Road for Harris County Precinct 3.

Expected Impact:

Awarding the contract will allow the recommended bidder to proceed with constructing maintenance repair options such as base repair, mill, and overlay for one road in the Houston area.  The total length of the project is 1.50 miles of roadway.

Alternative Options:

The alternative is not to award the contract.  If no action is taken, the maintenance repair options will not be constructed.
