Background and Discussion:
To further enhance the safety and overall experience at Jones Road Park, located at 9800 Jones Rd, Houston, TX 77065, Harris County Precinct 3 desires to provide a new parking lot security light installed by CenterPoint on an existing CenterPoint pole at the entrance of the parking lot.
Expected Impact:
Approval of the Facility Extension Agreement will allow CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric LLC to provide electrical service to the security light which is needed to enhance safety.
Alternative Options:
All CenterPoint provided guard/security lights require a power source. Alternative option is to provide multiple solar lights at this location to provide 100% illumination throughout the night, which will be the more costly option.
