Background and Discussion:
The project consists of construction of multimodal connector trail that will connect Spring Creek Greenway Hike and Bike trail to Townsen Park and Ride as well as to the historical US 59 bridge crossing the San Jacinto River in Harris County Precinct 3
This change in contracts includes:
• Change includes cost and time for installation of seal slab underneath the channel lining ($17,325.00 - 5 days).
• Cost of adding bid item for trench safety system. ($4220.00 - 3 days).
• Cost and time for removal of additional abandoned Reinforced concrete pipe and Manhole in conflict with proposed work. ($1,428.96 - 1 day).
Expected Impact:
Change allows to install seal slab underneath the channel lining per TXDOT detail, allows to add trench safety system to the project per standard detail and remove additional abandoned structure which conflicted with proposed work.
