Background and Discussion:
The project consists of a combination of street and traffic improvements, widening existing Hughes Road from two (2) lanes to a four (4) lane boulevard section, with the addition of a 6-ft sidewalk along the west side of the road (about 6,121 ft). Additional improvements include a sidewalk connection to Green Tee Terrace Trail and a second bridge along Clear Creek that mirrors the existing bridge. Landscaping, irrigation, and utility relocations are also scoped within the project limits.
Expected Impact:
The Project will help with ease traffic and providing safe walkway for the pedestrians.
Alternative Options:
If the court action is not approved, traffic congestion may continue, and pedestrians will not have these benefits.
