Background and Discussion:
This item will amend the authorized signatories due to promotions, staff turnover and to ensure sufficient internal redundancy. Signatory authority has previously been approved by Commissioners Court for the Flood Control District to take all necessary actions to submit applications, contract amendments and required documentation to the Texas GLO in the most expedited fashion so that operations funded by CDBG-DR and CDBG-MIT funds may proceed unhindered to completion.
Expected Impact:
Approval of this item will allow the Flood Control District to apply for CDBG partnership funding for flood risk reduction projects and meet Harris County and GLO requirements of primarily benefitting Harris County LMI residents.
