Background and Discussion:
Project includes Repair and replacement of damaged concrete pavement, curbs, driveways, sidewalks and other related items in the Clear Brook City in Harris County Precinct 2. The Precinct has requested for new bid items be added to the contract. Change includes adding bid Item #35 through 39:
1- Item 35 - REMOVE AND HAUL AWAY EXISTING CONCRETE SIDEWALK- $9.50/SY
2- Item 36 - PROPOSED CONCRETE SIDEWALK (4.5") - $135/SY
3- Item 37 - REPAIR CONCRETE PAVEMENT (6 IN FULL DEPTH - HES) - $124.83/SY
4- Item 38 - REPAIR CONCRETE PAVEMENT (7 IN FULL DEPTH - HES) - $134.65/SY
5- Item 39 - REPAIR CONCRETE PAVEMENT (8 IN FULL DEPTH - HES) - $144.52/SY

The new bid item is only to establish the unit price and there is no change to the contract amount.
