Background and Discussion:

This project consists of upgrading Hufsmith-Kohrville Road to a standard four (4) lane concrete boulevard in 100-foot ROW with a 32-foot raised median and underground storm sewer system for the updated limits from 400' north of Boudreaux Road to 600' north of Holderrieth Road.  The project includes a new bridge across Willow Creek M100 channel and sidewalks.

Expected Impact:

The project will improve the north-south vehicular mobility for the local community. The proposed bridge will expand the entire channel, and the proposed elevation will reduce the bridge flooding.

Alternative Options:

Without this project, this road segment will continue operating under the current conditions without the improved 4 lane configuration.
