Background and Discussion: FPM Maintains 140 facilities which are surrounded by lawns and landscaping that must be maintained. Maintenance consisted of, weeding, mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, fertilizing, repairing of erosion, prevent diseases, controlling pest infestations, trash removal, and maintaining a manicured appearance. These services are performed at different frequencies depending on the needs of the facility and the time of year.
Expected Impact: It is essential to maintaining the integrity of the lawns and landscaping surrounding facilities ensuring they continue to be safe, pest free and aesthetically pleasing for the public and county employees. An agreement with this vendor will ensure lawns and landscaping are properly maintained.
Alternative Options: : There are no alternative options as FPM does not have in-house mowing and landscaping capabilities.
