Background and Discussion:

Harris County purchased 1111 Fannin to be the new offices for HCED, HCFCD, Purchasing, HRRM, and CSD.  These five departments will occupy the majority of the building along with Harris County Public Health.

 

 

Expected Impact:

The Construction Manager at Risk will provide assistance and guidance to the design team for procurement of long lead items, constructability, budget, and schedule.

 

 

Alternative Options:

The alternative would be to not have a Construction Manager at Risk and issue the project for bid via a Competitive Sealed Proposal.
