Background and Discussion:

Empower Initiative will present to all HCD staff and leadership on the importance of structural belonging in a high functioning, complex, and collaborative public work environment. The Empower Initiative team is experienced in transforming people and teams - specifically how we treat each other and what we believe about one another. This is important for HCD because we are a department, like others, that has undergone constant and significant changes in our programs, staffing, levels and types of funding, and our physical locations. We look forward to resetting together with a proven speaker to kick off this work and lead us through the rebuilding process.

Expected Impact:

HCHCD is leveraging existing general funds from the FY2025 training budget for this contract.
