Background and Discussion:
On September 13, 2022, Commissioners Court authorized evaluation consulting services as a subaward of the agreement with American Institutes for Research (AIR) under Job No. 210317.
AIR is currently conducting an evaluation of the Women’s Empowerment Center, including services provided by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office and Harris County Public Health. The agreement is set to expire on December 31, 2026. Additional time is needed to gather insights from relevant stakeholders, complete the evaluation, and submit a final report to Harris County.
This amendment would extend the agreement through March 31, 2027.
Expected Impact:
This 90-day, no-cost extension will provide adequate time to complete the evaluation and submit a final report on the Women’s Empowerment Center to Harris County.
Alternative Options:
Not extending the agreement would prevent the evaluator from completing the evaluation and submitting a final report to the County.
