Background and Discussion:
On April 12, 2016, Harris County entered into the Oracle Master Agreement (US-GMA-652214) with Oracle America, Inc. to provide Oracle software and related technology services for the County. Since execution of the Master Agreement, the parties have executed multiple amendments to support the County's ongoing technology needs.
The Thirty-Sixth Amendment authorizes the purchase of Oracle Cloud Services for the Harris County Toll Road Authority (HCTRA) under Oracle ordering document reference number 16012292.a4, which is attached to the amendment as Exhibit A. The amendment incorporates the ordering document into the Master Agreement and establishes the terms and conditions governing the Cloud Services. The amendment also appropriates funding in an amount not to exceed $1,100,000.00 for the purchase of these services. No services may begin until a Purchase Order has been issued.
Expected Impact:
Approval of the Thirty-Sixth Amendment will allow HCTRA to procure Oracle Cloud Services under the existing Oracle Master Agreement, ensuring continued access to Oracle's cloud-based technology platform while maintaining compliance with County procurement requirements.
