Background and Discussion:
This first amendment will provide additional design, bidding and construction phase engineering services for Drainage improvements at Anderson Road and C144-00-00. This project occurs in the 2nd quartile under the 2022 Prioritization Framework approved by Commissioners Court. This amendment provides additional design, bidding and construction phase engineering services for the expanded scope and proposed construction phasing of the Drainage improvements at Anderson Road and C144-00-00.
Expected Impact:
The project seeks to reduce flood risks and strengthen resiliency in the Sims Bayou watershed by reducing inundation depth for 13 structures, and flood risk for 1 structure, 3.7 acres, and 0.08 miles of roadway for the 100-yr storm event.
Alternative Options:
The alternative to approval of this item would be to select a different consultant to complete the design, which would result in a delay in the project and realization of the benefits.
