Background and Discussion:

The HHSC Title V grant amendment #3 will allow the HCPH Dental Program to accept FY23 funding in the amount of $615,600.00 for the period beginning September 1, 2022, and ending August 31, 2023. The Title V grant supports the provision of dental services to uninsured children and adolescents at our Southeast and Humble dental locations.

Expected Impact:

Without these funds, many of the recipients served by this grant would not have access to dental care. The funds are used to pay salaries, procure needed supplies, maintain software and cover service visits for equipment maintenance.
