Background and Discussion:
On November 13, 2025, Commissioners Court approved the request to award construction contract for the construction of Scott Street at Beltway 8 Improvements project to MB Western Construction Co. for construction bids for the Scott Street at South Sam Houston Parkway East improvements project. The project provides ADA and pedestrian-accessibility along HCTRA’s Sam Houston Toll Road and includes new signalized intersection at Scott Street and Brunswick Meadows Drive to improve vehicular, ADA and pedestrian accessibility.
