The NAACP Houston Branch advances initiatives that align with Harris County’s priorities of equity, community well-being, public safety, economic opportunity, education, health equity, and civic inclusion. Its community-based work includes legal clinics, educational and youth-development initiatives, health-awareness efforts, workforce and economic-opportunity advocacy, and programming intended to address barriers affecting historically underserved communities.
