Background and Discussion:
CenterPoint Energy Resources Corp. dba CenterPoint Energy Texas Gas Operations (CenterPoint Gas) is requesting the Flood Control District to seek authorization from the Harris County Commissioners Court to pay the additional amount of $12,145.45 that exceeded the estimated cost of $6,620.26 as shown in the original agreement. The additional amount was due to overruns in material and labor costs that were not expected during the development of the estimate.
Expected Impact:
This amendment will allow the Flood Control District to pay CenterPoint Gas for the additional amount required to cover relocation expenses.
Alternative Options:
The alternative to approving this item would be for the Flood Control District to not pay CenterPoint Gas
