Background and Discussion:

The overall goal of this program is to increase effective enforcement and adjudication of traffic safety-related laws to reduce fatal and serious injury crashes by conducting high-visibility saturation patrols within the Enforcement Zones. The grant period for this award is July 15, 2025 - August 6, 2025.

 

Expected Impact:

Reduction of automobile crashes, injuries and fatalities in Harris County.

No alternative options identified. Not accepting this grant award would forfeit the opportunity to receive funding to protect the citizens on Harris County roads.
