Background and Discussion:

Cypress Hill Municipal Utility District No. 1 has provided the lease space for Harris County Constable Precinct 4 since 2020. This amendment will extend the lease from September 1, 2025, through August 31, 2026, at no cost to the County.

 

 

Expected Impact:

Through the renewal of the lease agreement, Constable Precinct 4 will be able to continue offering the presence to the Cypress Hill Community.

 

 

 

Alternative Options:

There are no other variable options for Harris County Constable Precinct 4 to remain in the area for $0 per year.  Any alternative options for similar sized office space would likely include a higher rental amount in addition to relocation costs.
