Background and Discussion:

The Trust in American Institutions Challenge will fund one project that renews trust in one or more of the core institutions that underpin American democracy. This Challenge will award a $9 million grant over up to five years. The Comprehensive Literacy Model strengthens trust in American institutions by improving literacy across all life stages. By leveraging libraries, schools, and workforce programs, it empowers individuals, enhances economic mobility, and fosters informed civic engagement.
