Background and Discussion:
Pursuant to Texas Local Government Code Sec. 335.031(c), the appointing person, in this case the Harris County Commissioners Court per Sec. 335.035(c), of a director of a sports and community venue district created under Chapter 335, in this case the Harris County-Houston Sports Authority, may remove the director “at any time without cause.” This item will create a vacancy in the chair and provide notice to relevant parties.
