Background and Discussion:
On July 7, 2025, a total of six (6) bids were received for Z100-00-00-X365 Drainage System Sediment Removal and Disposal - South. Harris County Flood Control District recommends awarding this Term Contract to the first responsive low bidder, Sago Solutions, LLC as primary and the second responsive low bidder, Ceballos Construction, LLC as secondary.
Expected Impact:
Based on the number of deferred infrastructure maintenance projects and with the passage of the "Maintenance Matters" proposition, we plan to expedite repair activities within the communities of south Harris County and foresee the need for multiple suppliers.
Alternative Options:
Not awarding the Term Contract would delay maintenance projects to repair channel flowlines in the south portion of Harris County.
County Strategic Plan Goal: 2. Connect our community with safe, reliable, equitably distributed, and well-maintained infrastructure.
County Strategic Plan Objective: H: Improve the condition and resilience of County transportation, flood control, and other infrastructure.
