Project ID (If applicable]: G503-06-00-E002
Purpose and Request:
title:
Recommendation to execute an excavation and removal agreement in the amount of $1,000 with Sprint Sand & Clay, LLC, for construction of stormwater detention basin along Taylor Gully in the San Jacinto River Watershed. (San Jacinto River Watershed, Project ID G503-06-00-E002, Agreement No. 2022-36, Precinct 4).
end
Background and Discussion:
This agreement allows the contractor to enter the property and excavate and remove material at no cost to the Flood Control District. This benefits the District because excavation and removal is always the highest cost of any stormwater detention basin that is constructed.

Alternatives:
The alternative to this agreement being approved is that we will need to seek another consultant for the work to be performed, which will delay the project.
