Background and Discussion:

This Amendment No. 1 revises the Texas Cancer Registry Data Sharing Agreement to require Harris County Public Health to submit any reports, dashboards, publications, presentations, or other products containing results for geographic areas smaller than the county level to DSHS for awareness at least 20 days before public dissemination or publication. All other terms and conditions of the existing agreement remain unchanged, and any future revisions must be made through a written agreement between the parties.

 

Expected Impact:

HCPH will now be required to inform Texas DSHS at least 20 days before public dissemination of data products for geographic levels smaller than county level.
