Background and Discussion:
The Neighborhood Nuisance Abatement program is focused on the abatement of unsafe structures in Harris County neighborhoods that pose a health and safety risk to area residents including children.

The Neighborhood Nuisance Abatement program’s expected impact is the removal of unsafe structures, and public safety and health risks within the community, as well as providing a safe, suitable environment for individuals of the community, principally for persons from low- and moderate-income households.
