Background and Discussion:

On June 13, 2017 Commissioners Court approved an Agreement with ATSER, L.P. in the amount of $5,950,000.00 for professional engineering services for Program Management Consultant (PMC) for the construction of the East Sam Houston Tollway between Interstate 10 (East) and SH 225, the Ship Channel Bridge Program, including the construction of twin bridges over the Houston Ship Channel.

The original Agreement was subsequently amended by order of Commissioners Court on March 8, 2022 in a First Amendment increasing the payment from $5,950,000.00 to $11,850,000.00.

The Second Amendment will increase payment from $11,850,000.00 to $17,350,000.00 and update terms and conditions. Amendment also includes an MWDBE goal for the amended value and scope.

This agreement will allow continued services for the construction of the Ship Channel Bridge.
