Background and Discussion:

Creel Country Estates is in the Spring Gully and Goose Creek watershed and in Precinct 2 in eastern Harris County. This project site is generally bounded by E Wallisville Road to the north, residential development to the west and east, and O207-01-00 to the south. Creel Country Estate is in unshaded Zone X. Portions of the existing water and wastewater systems on Lyndale Dr, Bonnieville Dr, and Cindyrella Dr need to be relocated wastewater and water lines.  The proposed improvements are to regrade roadside ditches, upsize culverts to increase capacity, and to construct a detention basin for mitigation. The Construction phase services agreement will allow for construction oversight of the project.

Expected Impact:

This project seeks to reduce flooding and strengthen resiliency in Harris County by assisting in the alleviation of structural flood damage to homes in the Creel Country Estates Subdivision.

Alternative Options:

The County could elect to fund the requested task or choose to reject it. However, if not approved, the project cannot be constructed.
