Background and Discussion:
Precinct 1 requested an on-call term contract for Sidewalk Construction and Repair for Harris County Precinct 1. The contract will address sidewalk construction and repair on an as-needed basis. The contract shall be a multi-award contract to D&W Contractors, Inc, in the amount of $1,000,000, Total Contracting Limited in the amount of $1,000,000, and Ceballos Construction, LLC in the amount of $1,000,000. MWBE Contracted Goal: 29%.
Expected Impact:
Awarding this contract will provide Precinct 1 with access to on-call Sidewalk Construction and Repair and related services throughout Precinct 1, allowing for timely maintenance, rehabilitation, and repair to improve pavement conditions, safety, and mobility for the pedestrian public.
