Background and Discussion:
Precinct-3 intends to construct two new restroom/concession stand buildings at Meyer Park (7700 Cypresswood Dr., Spring, TX 77379). The new restroom/concession stand buildings will replace the old, dilapidated buildings. The new buildings will be provided with conditioned restrooms for the Precinct-3 residents.
Request for approval to award FMG Construction Group, LLC for the construction of two new buildings (Building #2 & Building #3) located at Meyer Park (7700 Cypresswood Dr., Spring, TX 77379) in the amount of $2,228,374.89 for Precinct-3.
Expected Impact:
The award of this contract will result in the construction of additional restroom replacing the old structure at Meyer Park (7700 Cypresswood Dr., Spring, TX 77379). The new construction will be for Building#2 and Building#3 only. The new restroom buildings will provide visitors to the parks with improved facilities.
