Project Description:

This project is to replace and modernize obsolete and uncompliant restroom facilities in Southwell Park in Precinct 3, and to bring these the restroom up to code and into environmental compliance.

Project Scope:

Demolish and remove the existing old and obsolete restroom facility in Southwell Park and replace it with new and modern 6-stall restrooms up to code and ADA compliant.

Justification:

The existing restroom is old and in poor condition, and it must be brought into compliance with the ADA and the plumbing code by installing modern equipment.

Alternatives and Engagement:

The alternative is to neglect the restroom in need of repair and to wait for an emergency failure to require immediate steps, which would be more expensive and possibly cause the facilities to shut down for an extended period of time until a repair and cleanup can be made.
