Background and Discussion:
It is recommended that the Escrow Agreement be approved to allow the Flood Control District to accept $10,000,000 in funds from House Bill 1 to the Flood Control District to provide funding for construction of the Lower Clear Creek Watershed: Whitcomb Terracing and Detention Projects.
Expected Impact:
Establishing this escrow account will allow the Flood Control District access to TWDB awarded grant funds.
Alternative Options:
There are no other options in order to secure these TWDB grant funds. Not approving would prohibit our ability to utilize these grant funds.
