Background and Discussion:

The SJRA, HCFCD, and the County desire to work together to alleviate the flooding in an East Harris County neighborhood. Conveyance of this 2.424 acre tract is part of an agreement executed on Commissioners Court on August 10, 2021. HCFCD has spoken to Precinct 2 about this project and an executed agreement was put in place.

 

 

Expected Impact:

This tract is necessary for this drainage improvement project to get completed.

 

 

 

Alternative Options:

There are no alternatives for this project. The tract is critical to the mitigation of drainage from the RRD project north of Barbers Hill.
