Background and Discussion:

This project involves asphalt pavement rehabilitation at several key locations, including Malcomson Road from Grant Road to Louetta Road, Fenske Road from Cypress Church Road to Cypress Rose Hill Road, and Cypress Church Road from Louetta Road to Mueschke Road, as well as improvements within the Old Town Spring limits based on recommendations from Traffic and Pedestrian Study, Old Town Spring

The work involves implementing a new temporary traffic control plan in the Old Town Spring area, divided into two phases with a one-way detour to facilitate construction, while also performing drainage repairs and extending cross pipes at the intersections of Preston Avenue and Prairie Street, and Magnolia Street and Oak Street.

PCO #3: Drainage Improvement at Old Town Spring, Cost: $ 23,800.00, Time: 15 days

PCO #4: Temporary Traffic Control Setup for Old Town Spring Area, Cost: $ 49,760.00, Time: 60 days

Expected Impact:

These changes allow for quantity adjustments and additional days necessary to complete the project in line with its original intent and in compliance with precinct requirements.  The inclusion of the new road segment for overlay is aimed at improving safety for both drivers and pedestrians in the area.
