Background and Discussion:

This agreement is to provide staff augmentation for Construction Project Management and Inspection for non-CDBG projects. This agreement will provide $1,000,000 in staff augmentation capacity. This agreement is necessary to support the increasing workload planned for non-CDBG projects for the coming year.

Expected Impact:

Allows continuity of current project assignments for construction project manager and inspectors. Maintains status quo of all current staff augmentation levels for non-CDBG projects.  The amended funding will allow continued service for one year.

Alternative Options:

The alternative would be to hire permanent Flood Control District staff for the work.
