Background and Discussion:
On August 6, 2024, Harris County Commissioners Court approved the PY2024 Annual Action Plan for Entitlement funds, which included the Harris County Clearance and Demolition and Lead-Based Paint Abatement Programs. These programs are supported by the above referenced project activities.
Expected Impact:
The total cost of the agreements is $590,000.00 and they are totally funded with PY2024 CDBG EN funds.
Alternative Options:
If the agreements are not approved, then efforts to aid in prevention or elimination of slum and blight and efforts to abate lead hazards from the housing stock will be negatively impacted.
