Background and Discussion:

Harris County Veterinary Public Health receives monetary donation over the counter from visitors to the shelter and pet wellness clinic and via online web transactions.

Expected Impact:

The approval of the monetary donations will allow Harris County Veterinary Public Health to help pet owners that are in need of pet food, vaccinations, pet supplies and more for their pets. As for the animals in our care, donations help with foster, transport and adoption programs find these animals temporary and eventually permanent homes.
