Background and Discussion:
Commissioner’s Court approved an agreement with Gensler for architectural and engineering services for The HAY Center project for the Resources for Children’s and Adults department. The scope of this request will cover scope changes, documentations and specifications outside the original scope of work to be in compliance with the City of Houston and Texas Department of Transportation regulations.
Expected Impact:
This project is intended to reduce homelessness of youth aging out of foster care as well as provide a permanent facility for staff to provide wrap around services.
Alternative Options:
N/A - No Alternatives were applicable, as these services associated with this agreement are standard to ensure the project is built in accordance with City of Houston and Texas Department of Transportation regulations.
