Background and Discussion:

The Harris County Community Plan states that domestic violence detrimentally impacts society.  The Plan states people are overwhelmed by the criminal justice system and there is a great need for victim assistance programs to help victims navigate the criminal justice system, and provide education for prevention.

Expected Impact:

More victims in Precinct 7 will be assisted and domestic violence should be reduced due to education
