Expected Impact:
No immediate fiscal impact at this time. HCSFNCP is tasked to acquire completed new construction residential homes from homebuilder and resell to program qualified home buyers with household income of 80% AMI and below. The program also makes a priority to resell available homes to both Voluntary and Involuntary Harris County Buyout Program participants as their replacement home.
Alternative Options:
If these homes are not purchased, CSD will be less likely to meet our program goal for providing affordable new homes to qualified home buyers meeting the program’s income guidelines.
