Background and Discussion:

Precinct 2 has a partnership with City of Houston to provide improvements to Denver Harbor Park. The

improvements are a part of Revive2Thrive initiative set by Commissioner Adrian Garcia. The Precinct will

provide the project design scope and fund the construction of this project. A surveyor consultant is needed to

assist the in-house design team at Harris County Engineering Department - Technical Services.

Expected Impact:

The survey will allow the Harris County In-house design team to expedite the project schedule and execute the

project by Q4 of 2024

Alternative Options:

Technical Services can coordinate with HC Surveying for in-house surveying. This option is expected to

significantly delay the project delivery schedule.

Alignment with Goal(s):

_ Justice and Safety

_ Economic Opportunity

_ Housing

X Public Health

X Transportation

_ Flooding
