Request for approval to execute an interlocal agreement with the City of Houston to construct drainage improvements to trail facilities in and around Scott Street at Brays Bayou and all related appurtenances, UPIN 23050MF2QJ01, Precinct 1.

Background and Discussion:

The proposed trail undercrossing at Scott Street along Brays Bayou will improve safety and mobility by creating a continuous, grade-separated connection for pedestrians and cyclists. The project includes developing construction plans, specifications, and a cost estimate, with the current construction estimate.

Expected Impact:

The project will provide enhanced mobility for pedestrian access along Brays Bayou Trails.

Alternative Options:

The County could choose not to proceed, but this would leave existing connectivity gaps unaddressed and maintain reduced pedestrian and bicycle access.
